About the Event
Entirely made up of poses done close to the ground, seated forward folds, hip openers, spine twists & supported backbends. There is no flow & no vinyasa. All poses are held for up to 5 minutes & are taught with a variety of props to support the body weight. Release, recovery, relaxation, surrender, & greater flexibility are the goals.
MFR is known as Myofascial Release. Otherwise known as "Yummy Yoga" as yin classes are very relaxing and calming. All sorts of props will be used during this class as well as tennis balls. With the help of our props we will target the deep release of our connective tissue (fascia) and gain a great stretch!
